Layered Spinach Salad With A Creamy Dressing

Three irresistible layers of ingredients that are combined with a creamy dressing.  The spinach serves as the base for what will become your new go to salad! You can not go wrong with layers of cucumbers, cheese, crumbled bacon and more. Personalize your salad by incorporating your favorite toppings. Some suggestions are black olives, beans or even peppers. This salad is best when refrigerated overnight.

This is a great salad to take to parties!

Prepare the layered spinach salad the night before for best results.

There is some prep work involved but it’s worth it!

Layered Spinach Salad

Ingredients
  • 3 hard boiled eggs grated
  • 1 cucumber peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup carrots peeled and grated
  • 1 package baby spinach
  • 5 slices bacon fried and crumbled
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Salad Dressing
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4-5 dashes hot sauce
Instructions
  1. Start with the spinach-cut stems off and hand tear


  2. Put spinach in large bowl

  3. Add 1/3  of ingredients

  4. Add another layer of spinach

  5. Add additional 1/3 of ingredients

  6. Add top layer of spinach and rest of ingredients

  7. Top with dressing

  8. Cover and refrigerate overnight

Salad Dressing
  1. In a medium size bowl combine all ingredients

    Mix well

Top with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight
